4th Weekend of the Season was a good one!

Brad has had some really nice club hats made.  If you want one shoot him a text and we can get another order in.
Redneck Mini Van!
As we walked out of lunch Sat this "Arkansas Gem" was parked in the lot.  We couldn't get our phones out fast enough.  Yes, that is a car seat in the back seat and yes, if you zoom in those are deer antlers in the cargo area.
The Bumble Bee has been transformed.
Stevie brought Cade's new dog Gunner down to the camp to work with him for the weekend.  The bad news is that he did awesome, so Cademan may be out of luck! I am just glad I had Shane and Brad there to witness the deal we struck after Stevie took his Ambien!
Gunner decided it was much warmer inside the pit.
Another Pic of Gunner hunting the skid blind.  This little guy is going to be a good one!
Saturday's Hunt
The Tank Pit ended up being the place to be on Sat.  Shane, Brad, and Myself lucked up and had an incredible day.  Shane has a great video of a group of about 300 working us to finish the day.  I tried to upload it to the site but I am having technical difficulties.

Another shot from Sat in the Tank
Sunday the weather man obviously slept in because they were calling for Full Sun.  We stayed in the Blind until about noon and killed 10 Spoony's.  Then as you can see in the picture the sun came out and so did the Green Heads.  Glad we waited them out!

Shane and Johnny's Weekend with their boys

From what I hear, Chase called all the ducks in.

Drake or Hen .... ????

Johnny and Chase
The boys had a good weekend.  I think they killed 15 both days.

Travis wearing the Go Pro.

Sorry Chase ... you can't sleep around these guys or you end up on the internet!

Here are a few more pictures from the opening weekend.

Sunday was a better day for Mallards.

We took a break during the hunt to watch Mr Garvey the Intercity Substitute Teacher!

Johnny's dog Van worked hard both days.  He got rewarded with some couch time.  If you read this use it as a word to the wise not the use that couch pillow beside him.

It was a great weekend, and I really enjoyed the fellowship.  I hope the East Tn boys can make it next time.  I am looking forward to a great season.

Opening Weekend 2013

Here are a few pictures that I have received from the Opening Weekend.
Heath and his special hunting guest Adam Levine

Brad and Shane look on as Stevie works a group.

Opening Day presented a very mixed bag of birds.  Gadwalls, Mallards, Wigeons, Teal, and a Speckle Belly Goose.

The Bumblebee made short work of the rice fields!

Sunday Thousands of Geese made there way into our bean field.  You can see the cloud of birds rising into the air in the distance as we walked out.
